CCS is an interdenominational school serving the Tallahassee area since 1977. We seek to provide students in K-12 with a spiritual and educational environment that enables them to reach their full potential.

Our mission is to develop young visionary leaders who exhibit Renewed and Skillful Minds, Strong Hands to Serve, and Burning Hearts for Jesus so that they are thoroughly prepared to answer the call of God whenever it comes and wherever it leads.

Welcome from Headmaster, Tom Argersinger

Welcome to Community Christian School! As a parent myself, I know that choosing an education for your child is more important than ever. When you visit our campus, it will not take long before you realize CCS is unlike any other school in the area. Our three core programs, Spiritual Formation, Academics and Leadership are at the heart of everything we do here. Students of every age thrive as they grow spiritually, persevere through a rigorous academic program and discover their potential in becoming leaders in the day in and day out of school life, as well as in our advanced upper level leadership program.

In addition, you will discover:

                    • Part Time Enrollment Options for familes who desire enrollment alternatives for their children.

                    • A fully Integrated Student Personal Computer Program unlike any other in the county.

                    • Global Connections in which our three core programs (Academic, Spiritual, and Leadership) are utilized for the good of people in Tallahassee and throughout the world.

                    • A unique Global Leadership Program which provides essential leadership skills to every student.

                    • A school set apart for doing the work of God and a sense of His presence on campus.

The world is changing rapidly, and the pressures our students face as they grow up are indeed immense. At CCS, we purposefully and prayerfully walk alongside our students, encouraging them to engage the complex 21st century issues our world is facing. We actively train them to take the initiative to impact their world with clear thinking based on real truth, lived out with deep faith, hope and charity. We provide them with the necessary tools to become competitive, critical and creative thinkers, and competent learners fully prepared to make a lasting impact in the places that God leads them.

Our vision is to see a river of graduates flowing out of CCS, dispersing across the globe, taking the Spirit and the Word of God and a great liberal arts education with them as they work and pray to see God's kingdom "come on earth as it is in Heaven." This is our great vocation, and our great privilege.

I look forward to meeting you personally, and I invite you to join us on the adventure!
