At Community Christian School, we believe that God has decreed that the
responsibility for educating children is given to parents, and that they may
choose to delegate a portion of that responsibility to a school such as CCS.
We believe that great schools lead students to eagerly discover the truth,
joy and beauty of understanding God, His world and themselves as the
pinnacle of His creation.
We believe this is best done through a thorough and rigorous liberal arts
education that shapes and trains the mind, the body, the heart and the
spirit.
We believe the best academic education is one that guides students over time
to move from being dependent learners to becoming independent learners who
are capable of teaching themselves, on their way to becoming interdependent
learners who are capable of learning and working with others in the global
community of the 21st century.
We believe that all students must be called and trained to become leaders of
character who will significantly impact their world for Jesus.
We believe that all students should know God intimately, enjoy healthy
relationships, and obey what God has said in His word, the Bible.
This educational philosophy is incorporated and developed in an
age-appropriate manner in each of our school divisions: Kindergarten,
Elementary, Middle School and High School.
