Media Arts

Thank you for visiting our Media Arts page. The Media Arts class was started in the 2007-08 school year as part of the high school curriculum. Led by Don Greener the students learn how to create and edit video using HD recording equipment and the Final Cut Pro Studio application suite. Projects range from song interpretations, both secular and Christian, scripture interpretations, dramas, etc with the final project being a submission to the Jim Harbin State Media Festival.

The Media Arts team is currently producing five Man On The Street interviews made up of footage taken on the Florida State University Campus. The clips are sure to be moving and will offer some insight into what todays college students think about some pretty insightful topics, such as What Is Your Pursopse and What Is Happiness. Look for them to be posted here soon. In the meantime please enjoy a couple of video entries to the Jim Harbin State media Festival and a collaborative effrort from last years Media Arts class.

Magic Candy earned second place in the music video category and Detention earned third place in the drama category. We are very proud of our students and we hope you enjoy the videos. Please feel free to send us feedback on what you see at mediaarts@ccs-chargers.org. For more information on the CCS Media Arts class contact Don Greener at dgreener@ccs-chargers.org
