Middle School Overview
Strong, Solid Skill Development
In a day and age when our children are constantly bombarded with information, we must provide them with the necessary skills and insight to respond to and understand this information overload. At CCS we know that having a strong academic foundation, coupled with biblically-based thinking skills, is essential. This foundation is key, not only to prepare students for high school, but also to equip them to discern and fulfill their God-given purpose.
Guided Exploration
Middle school is a time for adolescents to discover and establish who they are. At CCS, it is our desire to provide students with avenues to explore and form their identity. Students can explore the arts, athletics, and technology all from a biblical perspective.
Solidifying Worldview
In Matthew 16, Jesus asked his disciples an essential question: “But who do you say I am?” The CCS middle school program equips students to answer this question through daily Bible Classes, weekly worship in Chapel, opportunities for service, and biblically integrated classroom instruction.
Successful students at CCS have an age-appropriate desire to answer Jesus’ question, to deepen their relationship with Him, to explore extracurricular activities, and to work hard academically.
