Welcome to the Creative Arts at Community Christian School, where every student is an artist!                     

God has made it clear over the years that the creative arts are to play a strategic role at CCS as we train up young leaders to answer the call of God whenever it comes, wherever it leads and whatever it costs...in a cultural context that is increasingly void of a true Biblical perspective.


The performing and visual arts, rightly conceived and practiced, can have an incredible Kingdom impact on an increasingly chaotic and aimless culture. 

The world says that the arts are all about self; the word of God makes it clear that the arts, whether they be overtly or covertly Christian in message, ultimately exist for the same reason everything in creation exists: to glorify God.

K-12 students at CCS receive the best in arts training so that their contribution to and consumption of culture might be thoroughly excellent and redemptive. 

We believe this happens as we refine our craft towards excellence, experience real life, and read and study the word of God together in community. As the Holy Spirit illuminates the Christ of the word through prayer, we are enabled to apply truth through the various art forms so that people are deeply moved to encounter God.

The talented team of arts professionals here at CCS are called to inspire the young artists under our tutelage to make a difference with their art here at home, out in the Tallahassee community and in the nations around the globe.

The world desperately needs artists who are fully surrendered to Christ, and willing to be co-creators with Him in order that people might be changed.
